Hi Everyone:
I inherited a very low time Merco .35 and I am looking for a muffler suitable for C/L stunt use. I have a few people checking for me and wanted to post here to see if anyone might have any ideas.
The exhaust dimensions are 1 7/16" wide by 7/16" tall on the outside and 35/128" on the inside.
The only possible match I found (in terms of possible dimensions of the muffler fitting the exhaust) was the Aviastar .51 muffler that Brodak sells. I haven't bought one yet but that may be a possibility.
I believe my engine dates from 1959 or 1960 based on what I've read. I'd like to use it in an OTS plane (Barnstormer?). It has no lug mounts but I am sure I can fashion something suitable if I can find a compatible muffler.
Thanks for any help or information anyone has to provide!

Hello Rick
I noticed that Brodak has a strap on stack that would suit your Merco : http://brodak.com/engines/mufflers-1/tongue-muffler-for-merco-29.html
Have the Enya version and it works well but did JB weld some of the holes to quieten it a little.
