Control Line Flight as seen by a DGI Quad
« on: June 21, 2018, 06:40:04 PM »
Both my boys are into quads (Not Drones - Sean fly's Drones  :)! )

One of my son's friends showed up at the park with one of those expensive models that connects via satellite. He locked in on me as the center and rotated around that spot. Wish I flew better and he slowed the rotation down, but it came out better than I thought.

I thought it was cool and would share it.

Paul, that's impressive  :)!  You know, given the fact that it can lock in, it would be interesting to have it as a tool to video a flight at an altitude/angle whereby knowledgeable/skilled judges could view the flight and critique the flight thus providing a guideline and basis for training future judges and and be a tool for improving a flyer's skill and view.  I would love to see the same or similar flight from a fixed/non-revolving point of view  ;).  Is that a possibility for a time in the future  ??? ?????

When drones are used for instructional or scientific purposes, their use counteracts the occasional use by people only interested in harming others, or for obtuse personal gratification.
