I have a copy of AAM with the oriental in it, but I'd need to dig it out and scan it.

If no one gets to it today I'll see if I can get that done for you tomorrow.

I thought it was in MAN, not that I have that issue. I know Mark Scarborough went over the original article with a fine toothed comb, before he built his long-tail, short-nosed version with the wing mounted gear! It's legal, but I seem to recall that it was not a great success, due to brick-like characteristics. Email Mark!  H^^ Steve

oh Steve you are so so wrong, that in fact was one of my best planes,, It had an LA 46 and it was a beast,, i think it weighed like 44 ounces? and the nose and tail were stock length,, the wing was moved as per the article to compensate for a heavier engine,, oh and it had wing mounted gear as per pictures in the article,,

as I recall the article was in Flying Models,, I have a copy at home,, I will look for it when I get home this weekend assuming I remember,, ( working out of town now)

For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!
