It's been 15 years since I lived in Loxahatchee, if I were still there I would happily fly with you.  I never ran into anyone to fly with there.  There are some guys that fly over in Clewiston I think though.  Maybe get in touch with Neal Pennington over there.  Tight lines.

If you ever get up around Orlando, let me know, we'll go flying. There's an active group in Titusville, too.

Jim,
There is a small group of us that fly on Saturday morning around 8:30 am at the Halpatiokee Regional Park. Here is the directions, basically take 95 toward Stuart, exit 100 (rt 76) go east, at first light make a right (gas station on right), follow road around and into the park. We fly at the Soccer field 1 (on left as you come into the park) or the baseball field just off the entrance circle. Hope the weather is good, we'll see you there.

BTW where have you been flying up to now?

Best,   Dennis T

Jim,
Sorry you can't get there on Saturday. We do have a flier that flies almost every morning at the field around 8 am ish so if you can get up there during the week Lynn is there. Maybe over the holiday weekend you can get out on Monday. We'll get together at some point.

Best,     Dennis

I had the pleasure of meeting Roy t., Chuck F., Andy A. and another gentleman at the soccer fields.   Seems they would be there before the crack of dawn and fly until time to report for work.  I know Roy is no longer with us and I hope Chuck's health is holding up.   Guess Andy hung up the handle.   Too bad the park department couldn't lay out a circle for them.  But, then again it would distract the soccer players and upset the parents.

John,
The complex at Halpatiokee park is fantastic. The grass on the Soccer field is really nice, even the baseball field grass is very nice. Chuck is OK just taking a little break but comes out and helps coach and enjoys the comradery. We have a few new fliers and hope we can get a few more guys. We hope to get a great weekend flying on Saturday and Monday, maybe Jim can come out on Monday.

Best,       DennisT

Jim,
We will be glad to have you. The ship looks great. BTW, I went to the field off Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. This is a nice facility, lots of modeling areas of all types. I understand talking to some of the RC guys is there are 3-4 guys that fly their, would be interesting to meet them. I didn't know we had a dedicated CL facility in Palm Beach County. It in about 10 minutes from my daughters place. Might be a great place to due some evening flying. The Soccer fields get a lot of use at night so having a dedicated CL site is great. It's about 35 minutes from Jupiter so it's do able. We can talk on Monday, hope the wind is calm.
