Title: Looking for a few beta testers.. LineIII
Post by: Bob Reeves on October 29, 2006, 09:49:31 AM
I have LineIII release candidate 1 ready for a beta test.. Looking for 3 or 4 people that are fairly computer literate that would be willing to take a little time to put the software and help files through the ringer. I will email you a 600 K zip file containing 4 files. Simply unzip the files into a new directory (folder) and create a short cut to the LineIII.exe file on your desk top.

In case you missed the previous threads, LineII will (among other things) accurately calculate the position of your leadouts in reference to the models CG. It is based on works by Bill Netzeband and Pete Soule of LineII fame. Basically what I did was take Petes math routines, write what I hope is a half way decent user interface, a fairly comprehensive help file and added a few additional calculations specifically targeting the stunt flyer.

If you are interested send me an email and I will send you the zip file. I am going to limit this release to the first 4 or 5 I hear from. My email link on the forum is correct so you shouldn't have any trouble getting in touch with me.

Thanks
Bob

Thanks guys, looking forward to hearing from you and please don't hold any punches. Easy for a programmer to miss a detail or two and when I actually do the release I would like it to be as finished as possible.
