I got some extra long ones at Southerlands Lumber a few years ago, so you might try one of the large lumber companys. They had a lot of odd sizes of socket head bolts in 4-40 and 6-32. I needed some extral long ones to go through my Orwick 64 to mount it to a firewall.

RTL Fasteners, is where I get all of my socket head bolts. He has 4-40 listed from 1/4 up thru 2 1/2 inch lengths. You can also buy in bulk and save quite a bit on price. He was featured in Model Aviation magazine. I know only those that read it will have seen it. Great family to do business with.

+1. Very good service. Get on the mailing list, they have some good deals now and then.
