That's gonna be a REALLY big airplane Crist! :o
-
Congratulations. It looks like you've taken up combat.
-
LOL. That's funny Howard!
-
What are you going to do with all that foam Crist?
-
Frank,
Go to:
http://www.clguy.com
and click on "Foam wings for Sale"
Then email me with your order. Simple.
Hope all is well with the gang. Did you see the write up on the Detroit contest?
-
Oh!! I see now. I thought you were going to insulate something. I should have known better.
Sure I'll order a wing. I have to measure out my Pathfinger and select a wing you make that is close. I'll be a couple days.
The gang is doing very well. I just got home from Flint a little while ago. A bunch of us met at the circle there to do some flying.
I didn't see the write up. Where did it appear?

November/December Stunt News.
Just kidding about ordering a wing.

So you don't want to sell one?

Frank,
Yeah , I like to sell them, I just didn't want you to feel that I egged you into buying one.

Hey Crist,
Have you considered making a foam wing for your take apart wing Score? Just curious..BTW, what was that 4 stroke you had in it when you took the post pictures?
Richard

What, no lead weights holding down the foam in your garage?
Allen Brickhaus
-
Richard,
No. Saito 56.
-
Crist, not to change the subject but you never did give us your overall impression of how well the Saito flys the Score. Sure would like know????
-
Crist,
I hope one of those blocks contains my Nobler cores. ~>
Ron
-
Ron,
Yeah somewhere in there is your set of Nobler cores!
-
Bob,
I haven't gotten enough time on the combo to give a really good report on how it flys. For now, lets just say I'm heading in a different direction.
-
Thanks for the comment, doesn't sound very encouraging for my Saito 56/Score plans.
-
Not necessarily so Bob. I just ran out of time to do more testing that the combo deserves. My idea was to test it this year before I spend a whole winter building a plane for the 56. My Score was only to be a test bed for the Saito. I realize that the Score is heavier than what I would build but wanted to try it anyway. I'll have more time next year to do more testing. I didn't want to "waste" a winter building a plane on something that wouldn't suit me, so I'm going in the direction that is more "suitable" for me, at least for now.
-
Well Crist no testing or even just goof off flying today, the confuser weatherview shows ave wind speed 19mph gusts at 22mph around MT. Joy. Back on subject I've never done a foam wing before do you have info on the proceedures ? Am thinking about trying one.
-
Lee,
Email me and I'll send you an outline of what you have to do.
-
Hi Crist. Is the foam you use compatable with polyester resin? The reason I am wondering is that I am thinking about a new cargo trailer design to pull behind motorcycles. In the past we have used wood to make the plug. This design is to complex for wood. Just curious as to what your using.

I don't know Lee.
