    I have at least one Edco kit of some kind that has some sort of endorsement from Paul Mantz on the label. I can't think of the name of it right now. I think I have seen this autogyro kit before also.

I have yet to see one fly other than video.

  Jim Lee had one he used in balloon bust and can fly it very well. It carries the 'patina" of have been flown and repaired a lot!! Cox had one RTF that looked like an Apache helicopter also. I tried flying one for a guy one time years ago and could not get it airborne. I don't know what I was doing wrong as others has said that they do fly, but I'll have to take their word for it. Mike Griffin kitted the Otto the Gyro design that was in one of the magazines years ago and they were reported to fly well. I didn't order one but if I run across one at a good price I might pick it up.
