Hey people!
So it finally stopped raining in Nashville today and I had the chance to get some handle time after about a 3-4 year hiatus.
My Dad is in town, so we snuck out after a delicious breakfast and drove over to an open field by my house.
Shot a little video with my Tiny Whoop (micro micro micro quad )

Yep. Ryan still takes his dad flying. And he is into quad building and flying. He is not into the competition side just likes punching holes in the sky. He was the same way with CL, just enjoyed flying and hanging out.
He builds these little mini quads the are the size of a butterfly. Was cool to get the perspective of the plane from a bug. 😊
I have tried it and FPV flying is kewl. A little disorienting when you take the goggles off. 🙃

Right goodie!
I would have never known about this site had Ryan not told me a few years ago when I got back into CL.
Shug...he who wants the snow gone!

Yep. And Ryan would not be into hammock camping if not for Shug. 🤡
-
Yep that's true :) I'm overdue for some hammock camping.

Glad you guys got some time together. Was he really getting that close with the quad? H^^

Yes. But it's as small and light at a butterfly. I would not classify it as a quad or drone. It's more like a toy quad.

Hey Doc, How old is your grandson?

I think he is now 16 as he has a drivers license and his own diesel powered pick up. Had to get a step ladder for me when we went to the races last year using his truck. D>K
