Title: Lonestar Balsa
Post by: Leester on May 16, 2009, 03:51:18 PM
I just placed a small order with Lonestar, my first since they have reopened. I didn't see anything in the product reviews so I was wondering what things are like with them now  ??? ??? I'm hoping nothing has changed.

Hey I have trouble with these electronic keyboards also.  They are nothing like the manual typewriter we had my Sophmore year in high school.  I see he corrected it tho.  DOC Holliday

I placed an order about a month ago. I ordered their bundle deal of all thicknesses from 1/16 - 1/2". they were short on some sizes and I asked them to substitute their salvage wood on sizes they were out of. The order I received was outstanding.  The wood was almost all 6lb. up to 8lb. and the salvage wood was just under 3" and maybe 1/4" short of 36" which doesn't mater to me since it is mostly cut into parts any way and I have a goo supply of 4" wood for sheeting. Also the order was received within a week of placing it. I am very happy with Lone Star.

Randy, click on ordering then AAA Balsa bundle deals. There not mixed bundles but all the same size per bundle.

I ordered at least a bundle of each thickness. Sorry for the misunderstanding. after I reread my post I can see it was confusing.

And if you want to browse offline, there is a catalog on the website that you can print.
