Just tried contacting Lone Star Balsa to order 4-6lb balsa and the phone is disconnected and the fax line as well.
Hope nothing has happened to them after the recent come back from fire.
The number I called is 972-552-2922 and the Fax 972-552-3941.
Any one have a better number or know whats up?
Thanks
David

I ordered from them several months ago and things were peachy.
Did you get Ernestine, telling you the phone had been disconnected? Or did you just get endless ringing?
They're small enough that they may have plumb forgot to pay the phone bill. Or they may have had a dispute with the phone company that spiraled out of control. Or someone at the phone company may have screwed up (it's hard to imagine, I know -- but it does happen once in a blue moon). If it's endless ringing and no answer, or Ernestine telling you the number's unreachable, or a fast busy signal, or something, then it may be mechanical problems at their phone company, or at their site, or there may be a very embarrassed back hoe operator somewhere in between the two.
I'd keep trying -- if they did just forget then you can bet that they're trying to get reconnected ASAP.

I just emailed them the other day to ask a question and got a response David :o

Perhaps it would be a good idea to send them an email and ask whazzup.

With those 2 responses figured I would try again.
After ringing awhile, an improvement over 1 ring to recording , Mike answered the phone!
Yes, ATT is in the process of crashing the former well run Bell South system.

Um David. I think Bell South bought AT&T and then decided the AT&T brand was more widely know so changed their name. Thus, Bell South is screwing up their own system if anybody is.

Texas was never Bell South. It was Southwestern Bell. Which became Southwestern Bell Corporation. Then it became SBC. Lucky for me it became ATT after I took the bonus and got my retirement. I also remember that Southwestern Bell was smart enough to hire the ATT installers to put in new equipment as ATT was laying them off. I still remember when you could trace a call thru the office. The new electronic stuff is not as good as some would have you beleive. H^^

Glad you got out in time Doc! H^^
Those I know that are still there stay stuck on pins and needles.
That reminds me that one day need to sit down and post details of Darrel's Dyna jet stunt plane.
Southwestern Bell Corporation, Bell South, Southeastern - Yea my buddies correct me all the time and I still say Bell South. Any of the above is better than saying 'The New AT&T' LL~
