Boys and girls,
Those attending the Brodak Fly-In should be aware there is a shortage of rooms in the whole area due to mining construction up dates planned for the next five years. The Holliday Inn at Uniontown, located 11.2 miles from the field, is once again the host hotel for the fly-in with special rates for the Fly-In. $130.00 Rooms for $80.00. There is a link on the Brodak web site to book from there and you can get all the details about accomodations and cancelation policy.
A limited number of rooms are set aside for Brodaks and these rates are good only until May 15th, 2011.

Additional info:
Uniontown PA is East of Carmichaels, Pa. Those of us comming from the west use the motels in Waynesburg, PA. just 11.4 miles from the flying field.
I have previously stayed in the Comfort Inn which gives a Fly-In discount, but this year we are staying at the Microtel which is right in front of the Comfort Inn. The reason for the switch is that the Microtel is at the same level on the hillside as the Bob Evans Restaurant.
See you all in June,
Clancy

It's Microtel for me, mark and Leon this year. 4 years at the Super 8 is enough! Management there told me when I mentioned the rate as being too high this year...."don't care, we are full every night without you" I expect that once the mining re-build is over with in 5 years the rates will once again drop below what they want this year.
