The gentleman sitting beside Sandy the demented toy poodle is the one and only Leo Mehl.  Met him at VSC this.  He says he met me the year I had the Sheeks Staggerwing there.  But, I have a lousy memory.

The pictures that won't enlarge when you crick on them, are the ones that aren't downloaded onto Stunt Hanger, but are being hosted on another website.  ::)

Hi Leo,

Have you tried to click on the little .jpg under the photo?

Have you tried to "right" click on the photo? (then open it from the menu)

Are you sure you want to see this photo enlarged??? Some of us that are past 50 are best viewed at a distance! LL~

Scott, COME ON UP!  We may not eat Possum, but turkey is always available this time of year, and your room is always available.  Let me know before I set out the traps for turkey.

Joe,

That critter looks angry!

When I was a kid, we tried to eat all the small game I brought home. The only animal my dear old grandmother could not make taste good, was Possum! Tried all the recipes we could get from the neighbors, but no matter how it was cooked and seasoned, it tasted absolutely awful.  S?P  HB~>

Man I'd rather eat Goat steak rare, than taste another Possum!

Caught a baby Possum in a box trap once, and tried to tame it enough to call it a pet. The nasty little guy finally wore me out, and was turned loose, still snarling and spitting at the hand that fed it for weeks!

Granny, Jethro, and Jed Clampitt sure had that possum recipe down pat! But Elly Mae would of called PETA on you, Joe!  LL~

I had one of those critters loose in the attic about a year ago. Chewed up burgular alarm wiring and ice maker waterline. What a nightmare! My burgular alarm went off at 2 am and the kitchen wall was flooding!  mw~   HB~>

This morning we spotted a huge Raccoon, perhaps 20+ pounds trying to get into a squirrel feeder. so far in the last year we have had two deer, the ever popular Possum, flocks of wild turkeys and today's coon and hundreds of bids in our back yard. all this in a residential area of our town.  My flying field choice is 1/4 Mile from the shop, a pretty good trout stream 1/2 mile away, low crime, little drug problem, no gangs.  the only bad part is no modelers within 50 miles or so.

Scott, I forgot to mention the following critter. I spotted this rare and dangerous amphibian while fishing with mac Ryan in Sept.  While I am told they are edible, I don't think I dared to try and capture the beast.

Don, did you miss the critter in the log's hole?  Also, we have yet to recover from the attack of the "Killer Penguin" that cam upon my wife while Trout fishing.

AHHH HA! nOW I SEE THAT LITTLE MEAN-N-GREEN FRIGGIT!

Love your photos and humor! I have only 15% disc space on my over worked Dumb-Dime' E-310 Dell from Hell puter.
Sadly I had to dump my photoshop attachments. At least my new little WD external drive is a blessing for photos...and drawings.

(I really need some puter-geek help or just purchase some more power for my puter's hard drive.)

Since my computer crashed in June and I lost the original Kodak program I have inally settled on Photo Explosion an d am just now lerning some basics.  The how to booklet is nearly 400 pages, and I am not up to page 30 as yet.  Here is another  shot. This time we were attacked by Bald Eagles on the way back to our car after an afternoon of Trout fishing.  Holpe sometime to come up with picures of control line models.

One last thing, then it is back to CL related stuff for me.  Today is a bit different for me as my Granddaughter is here, ill again, and I'm just (no pun intended) trying to keep her in view while she sleeps.  Otherwise I would be in the shop building some terrible looking plane.

Doc, your right in both cases. I am working on an idea about how to get more people into flying carrier.  It will perhaps tweak a few comments and I am sure it will cause some consternation.  The idea is to set up someway of getting back to the fun of local, regional Carrier flying without the emphasis on national competition goals.  I really think there is room for a plathora of ideas not related to "pushing the envelope" competition.  the comments will be in the carrier section of this forum not here. I will do my Best to keep it nonjudgmental and in a noncontroversial mode.
