LINE LENGTH HELP

I have a Ringmaster that will be ready next weekend, and I need some advice on proper ling length and diameter. It will have a OS25 on it. Brodak calls for .015 x 60. Please let me know if that is all right.
Also I have an Akromaster that will have a Os15 on it. Brodak calls for .015 x 52. Please let me know on it as well.

Line length is often a personal kind of thing relating to the plane and the person. But you are at the proper starting point for each of those planes. You might want to have two separate handles for each so that you don't have to reset your neutral each time you need to change!

And by all means, do MEASURE them yourself. I once got a set of 52's that actually measured 63'. You really don't want to fly a Fox 15 powered trainer on 63's.

   25LA or FP?  .015 and somewhere between 60 and 63 (eyelet to eyelet) is probably about right. The biggest problem will be that it will tend to be *very very fast*, so longer lines will help a bit with that.

    If it's an O25-S (baffle piston) then maybe .012x52-55?

Raby, I am flying my R master with an OS 25 LA with .012 lines that are 58 feet eye to eye and lap speeds are in the 4.9 to 5.1 sec per lap.

The Ringmaster on .015 x 60 ft is what I fly with a .25 FP- you might want to try .012s x 52' for the Acromaster, the smaller diameter / lighter lines will drag less and require less tip weight.
