I had a thread for the Annual Worldwide Ringmaster Fly-A-thon here in the General control line discussion > Open Forum> and as far as I can tell it has disappeared. I thought that if a tread was deleted or moved at least this would be announced in the forum.

I had the thread here because this is the first forum guests and many members visit and I hoped for maximum exposure about the event.

As most of you know this is not a contest but rather a chance to celebrate control line flying, all-be-it using some variety of the Ringmaster model!!! To me this is of General interest and deserves to be in this Forum

There are no fees, no registration and all one has to do is fly a version of the Ringmaster during the first weekend of October and report the flights to and email address. ringmasterflyathon-2013@yahoo.com

Am I missing something here???

I didn't move or delete it so I don't know we did have a server hiccup today.

Thanks for the reply Sparky,

I assume that none of the Moderators would just up and kill the thread so it must have been a Gremlin got in the mix. I have come to hate computers even though I rely heavily on mine!!

I will start it over but of course there I have no idea what all was posted in that thread!  HB~> HB~> HB~>

Not me.
I was looking forward to the report.

I do need to build one at some point.

Hey maybe I can Bash one of my Flight Streaks into a Streak-Ring?
Would that quality?

Sorry but you need a Ringmaster wing and tail feathers to qualify as a variant version!! Build a Beginner's Ringmaster (you are a beginner aren't you  ;D). All you need is a Cox 049 and some sheet balsa (hand launch and fly over grass). One evening is all that it takes to build one!

Plans file attached here.  y1
