Lil Joes first Solo with a U-KEY 35
« on: October 10, 2011, 07:29:19 PM »
After about one years time and quite a few lessions from some of the guys at FMP flying field my son Lil Joe (10) had his first solo with out any crashing and in the circle all by himself .  CLP** Infact he had three flights on this day and all were a success. The plane is a U-KEY 35 powered by non other then a good Ole Fox 35 that ran flawlessly.
I could not put up the video but I wanted too.  :(
Thanks to all that helped him get here like Neail B , John K and Sena just to name a few so here are some pix of how he came along.

Cool.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Great shots and another youngster to watch grow up in this fantastic hobby.   I do know Sena is one fine gentleman.  Don't ask him about a Nobler the DOC sold him when we were in IOWA at the contest.  H^^

Great pics; I understand you not being able to put up the video. I tried putting up a video from the flyathon, and got the message: 2hrs 45mins left :o Finally gave it up. :P
