lightweight hand truck
« on: May 10, 2009, 02:43:24 PM »
Hi folks, just thought i would throw out an idea. I came across a almostall aluminum hand truck or etc to put my flying gear & field box on. I don't have a way to take pictures to show it off. But in a nutshell it folds up to about 24in tall 15in wide. It cost a little over 20 bucks and found it at k-mart of all places. If anybody has any other ideas or thoughts bring it on. Also does anyone else take everything but your wife  woops, the kitchen sink to the flying field when you go flying? THANKS, SCOTT mw~ :o
keep em tight !

Hi Scott - I forgot to post it but I saw one at ACE the other day.  It folds down to about the same size and is aluminum also but the price was $47 I think. The one at K-Mart sounds like the winner hands down for $20 bucks.  Thanks for the heads up on this.

I use the Stanley tool box on wheels from Hope Despot. Its around $40,Has a pull out handle, holds lots of stuff and can be used as a bench.

You wouldn't beleive what I have in my airplane boxes as I call.  Have onefor all general flying and on for just racing.  Then there is the prop box.  Even have a spare engine in one box.  DOC Holliday

Based on you recommendation to my dad, I got one for Christmas.

It works great.  Got to try it out this past weekend.   :)
