Is it the same as a Flight Streak?

I had the kit for awhile. Real nice. I remember the wing section as being relatively thick, very similar to a Flite Streak. It was simpler to build though and that, along with real landing gear would make it my choice over a Flite Streak. Never did build it though, gave it to a beginner who did build it, crashed it, and was never heard from again...a tale told too often. :(
Historical Note: This was another kit that John inherited from CLC (Control Line Classics). One of Tony Drago's better designs IMHO. It was meant to be an updated Flite Streak. It was named Lightening Streak to avoid conflict with Top Flite who still held rights to the Flite Streak design and name. Tony, feel free to correct me or add details that I may have left out. I do think I think I have the story pretty much correct though. 8)

He crashed and rebuilt it several times. Learned to fly with it, at least.

He got married to a women with kids and is a trucker now.

OK, I'll change my story: It went to a beginner, he learned to fly with it, crashed it a number of times to be rebuilt. Got married, became a trucker and lived happily ever after. 8)
