Here it was windy.  On the 4th it'll rain in the morning and looks like some practice later on in the afternoon.  See you soon.

Pretty good day up here in the Twin Cities - partly sunny, warm and a light-to moderate wind.  Got a call about 8am from John Leidle who was on his way from Kirkland, WA to Muncie.  He stopped by our Piston Popper field in Fridley and got in a full day's practice as well as meeting about 7 of the Poppers who came out to fly this morning.

John and I used to fly at the various venues around Kent, WA before I relocated out here.  Wife and I had him over to the house this evening for some BBQue ribs.  Nice to chat about "old times" again.

Well we were out at the main site today.  The Giant Aerobatic Scale pilots were not flying.  Seems the clouds were to low.    They did start flying after the sun came out but then we had a little sprinkle come thru that made them pause for a bit.  They were still flying when we left field to get supper.  Anyway, Brenda and crew are getting all the equipment check out.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday
