Does anyone have experience with, or ideas about, using the 18650 Li-ion battery to power the ignition system on spark ignition engines? Seems using only one battery will save some weight. They are available in cylindrical or flat configuration, and are 3.7 volt. And you can get them in up to 6000 mah rating. Plus they are fairly inexpensive for the batteries and charger. Wouldn't the 6000 mah rating allow the battery to hold its charge longer?
