Title: Let the Fun Begin!!!!
Post by: Randy Ryan on May 10, 2013, 07:32:50 PM
These are my young friends Angela on the left and Julia (J May) on the right, their pretty mom Robin wouldn't get in the picture with them. Both have been in my shop, and seen me fly CL and some other assorted models and have expressed a desire to try it. So I ordered up a couple "Rays. and dug out the Cox Box and found a couple good Black Widers and we're going to have some fun. Unfortunately we can't start til next Saturday, but that will give me time to get the clear on the Gladiator and clear the decks for a new program! Look at the smiles!!!!

You lucky dog.  Two very good looking young ladies to teach CL to.   I had fun with my granddaughters helping them with a couple of 1/2A planes.   Once done they didn't want to fly them as they were afraid they would crash.   All five of my local grandkids have soloed at one time on bigger planes.   Now I have 5 new ones that are mucho closer to me now to work with.  As I've stated before, if they will fly I will fuel and start their engines.  All they have to do is build and fly.

Don't forget the pics of the young ladies working on their SkyRays.

Thanks John, and guys. I will photo-document the whole process. I' do the same thing, I will start and launch (after the solo). I think they'll both follow through, sure would like some flying buddies. Their Mom Robin has flown a bit too and is itching to do some more so I'll have her soloed soon and I guess I just become the crew chief!!!
