Les i dont think the question is ,how would you fare with the new type of stunters But how would the newer flyers fare flying the older ships??

Bob, that is my feelings also. the cream of the crop will also get the most out of what they are using at the time RAD

Couldn't agree more with the Bobs. Talent is not defined by the equipment you use and you don't make it to the top without it. I flew regularly with 2 of the names on that list and they had *TALENT*. I suspect that they would find today's ships rather boring. We seem to judge the planes of the 70's as inferior when in fact it is more the power plants that were interior. Another difference between now and then is the multi-event exposure we all got when we started. Combat, racing, stunt, carrier and the crazy stuff like inverted limbo and balloon bust. It is a shame that we don't have video evidence of most of the greats of the past to compare to today's. I am willing to bet there isn't much difference.
