Legends
« on: January 27, 2012, 08:27:50 PM »
New Jersey's own John D'Ottavio celebrated his 89th birthday this week and a bunch took him to dinner.....including another legend; Larry Scarinzi. I am hoping that someone there will send a pic or two (John D has a Polaroid!) and I'll post them.....
Larry can still wave a 120 mph combat plane around, and John is capable of a 500+ pattern from time to time....

Rich Giacobone coordinated the affair....

I had the pleasure of spending New Years Day with these two gentlemen. The laughs were plentiful and the stories even more. Great ambassadors to the hobby and played a huge part to my addiction  H^^

Great people, both John and Larry.   I used to give him hard time at the NATS when he was pit boss.  Also watching Larry in Tuscon flying one of his fast planes really got me.   They were never fast enough.   Oh, almost forgot,  HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY JOHN AND HAVE MANY MORE. H^^
