Legacy Question for Allen Brickhaus
« on: October 01, 2012, 10:42:46 PM »
Hey Allen, going to do one of my very rare kit builds of your Legacy (Brodak). Looking over the plans they show the flaps as 1/4" simply rounded at the TE. Is this correct or should this be a tapered section? Thanks!

Mind if I use your thread?

Allen, my friend is building your Legacy 40 and there's a note about the controls.
It says one should use the left hole of the bellcrank to put the pushrod, but the plans show it differently.
Which one is really the right bellcrank hole to use?
I told him to go according to the note, and have a six pack in a bet that's the right way.
What say you?

Thanks a million

The hole should be around 5/8" from the bellcrank pivot point.

I believe the model will fly with either shape.  Do what you are most comfortable doing.

But I'm asking how you shape your's, was it designed like that?

Mine was the wedge shape.
