SUPPER BOWL PARTY
« on: February 07, 2010, 09:10:52 AM »
I saw a sign in a store window this week all excited about having a SUPPER BOWL party. So yesterdeay I cooked up a big pot of my favorite home brewed soup.  It tasted very good last evening, but nobody showed up and gave me a party. What did I do wrong? Maybe I should have advertised having the SUPPER BOWL  party here.  Aw well, got food for the coming few days in any case.
Recipe available on request.

Again, it was not to be. But I had a glint of hope with...

  Go Vikings!!

Crushed at the last moment! So I'm down to...

A plane that would look really good in black and gold would be non other than: - - - - A Road Runner!

The original looked really good in Navy and white I think?  Tom you have it.  Isn't that the color?

Paul Walker's Cobra looked wonderful in black with gold trim. It just needed gold hubcaps, gold rear view mirrors, gold pin stripes and wide whites!  LL~ LL~ LL~

Schultzie: Randy's new plane (sorta white with about 8 shades of charcoal metallic, some funny red candy/pearl, and some nice metallic blue) looked quite good for the first couple of flights. A flap tweek (not quite enough, but sooo close!), too much tip weight, too much nose weight, leadouts a bit far aft. In short, other than the flap tweek, all as intended for a safe and sane first flight! It looks very good, but Randy's being cautious, as he should be.

The thing is only 595 sq. inches and around 55 oz. As a parting shot, we suggested that it would be a good match for a .46LA...and it really would be quite good!   y1 Steve

Well at least the two teams know where the goal line is and what you are supposed to do.   LL~ LL~ LL~  I didn't get to go flying as the snow/rain/drizzle what ever it is kept coming and going this past weekend.  This afternoon freezing rain/sleet and on 22F fegrees, -5C on the bank.
