"Old Country Store", manned by Tom Morris. Tom flew his new Cav-E-lier; it handled the windy conditions better than I expected-----or, maybe it was just Tom's great flying skill???

Lewis, or some other rascal, took a pic of my Warbird entry when I wasn't ready.......

Tom,

Our financial guy said the contest was a great success-----we only lost $330.00!! :o

We're gonna have to figure how to get more $$ from you guys ;D

Thank you to all who came.  And, we're not in this for the money, just for the fun.

Great pictures.  Looks like a lot of fun.  Thanks also, for reminding me that there are really places in this world that have green grass!

Jim I'm gonna give you a chance next year to recoup or recover some funds because I'm gonna come up there Lord willing. Too pretty a site to pass up. I love good grass circles and yawl's look better than good. Thanks for posting the pics, now I know what I've been missing.
      Godspeed,

What a great place to fly!!! This was my first contest and everyone was so helpful (and patient!). I'd like to thank Jim Oliver and his crew for putting on a great event! Great field, great food, and great camraderie! I learned so much from everyone there, I will definitely be back next year. I'd also like to thank Curtis Shipp for all the help these last few months, without it, I would still be just dreaming of flying CL! And a big shout out to the guys of NACA!!!

Shane Hughes ;D
