Laziness
« on: April 17, 2012, 10:21:09 AM »
It has been a while since I have posted about my version of Pat's P-47.   Finally found a pilot willing to sit in the plane.   Also have a canopy that will do for me.   The pilot came from Hobby Barn in Tuscon.   Got him talked into coming with me while at VSC.   Mean time have put glass on fuse and wing joints.   Now to get to filling and painting.

Jhn,
Your retired, no clock to punch. That means you work when you want not because you have to. Relax it's a hobby not a career. You enjoy the build at a more leasurely pace.

Nice looking pilot but you need to check your mailbox as I tried to call you a few times and I got a message that your mailbox is full. I am hoping that storms have missed you an your family is safe.  HB~> HB~> HB~>

Hobby Barn, I know that place. My neigbor just started to work there.  I told him they need to restock alot of items. Ownwers sure let the shop slip away.  Hope they rally and get shop back up to former levels.

Doc.  When I restored my 1947 65 HP Aeronca "Champ", I painted the interior of the cabin bright blue!  It was very distracting, so a couple years later, I got lots of spray cans and made it grey!  I've never seen a cockpit interior bright blue, but I guess anything goes with a stunter!
