Lavochkin LaGG3
« on: November 02, 2016, 11:56:53 AM »
Got a Lavochkin LaGG3 profile kit from Brodak. Box says it's got an improved wing 540 sq.in. so, I think it will be good for my other Brodak 40. Anyone build one of these got any advise. I'm planning on a Brodak 4" bellcrank with Tom Morris controls down stream. Maybe make the outboard flap a little bigger?

Thanks,
MM

Mine flew great with an LA 46. Totally stock; good design, saw no reason to change anything. Still don't .

Designed by John Miller. I'd guess that he built one, so ask him.  y1 Steve

I had one, flew really well, but beef up the center section of the wing
lost my model when the wing folded about 1" in from the fuselage inboard wing,
should have known better.

Sorry to hear that. What happened, was it the new and improved wing?
