Hi Guys
We have been on Holidays again and I just thought I might share a few more pics of some of the models we have built this school holidays...

Purty is as purty does. I love the idea of doing simpler stuff right.

Warren,
Great looking airplanes! ;D
I'm particularly fond of the Sniffer, and hope to build one some day.
What engines did you use on the Twister, and Sniffer?

Hi Bill,
The first one is actually a SIG Akromaster... it has a Taipan 2.5cc twin ballrace gold head.
The Super Sniffer is running an Irvine Mills .75cc and is used for FF power scramble. We are going to build a 2nd one of these from the plans for Kayla. We built that one in just over 2 days.
The 3rd one is running a Norvel .061
The last one is a Black Hawk Models Pitts Special running a Cox Black Widow .049
Cheers

Hi guys,
I went to a Gordon Burford tribute day today. For those who don't know, GB is the man who built the Taipans, Sabre, GB, Doonside Mills engines. GB is now 91 and could not make it to the day but the Kuringai Model Flying Club dedicated and named one of their 3 flying circles after Gordon and held a Stunt and a Speed Competition and had had some engines on display.
Kayla and I entered our Akromaster in the Stunt comp and I came in 3rd! It was my first ever comp so I am pretty pleased with myself.
It was a great day... here's a couple of pics.
Cheers
