As I stated in the original Continental thread it flew off the bench. Not quite true.
Things that were done to make it fly better.
- Bend elevators down a few degrees.
- Set uni-flow tube for same lap speeds.
- change tail wheel to lighten up the rear.
- Add a little nose weight. (It kills me)
- Move lead outs forward.
- change back to the handle I am use to.
I was having a problem with landing,it would balloon into the wind.It was dropping the tail after the engine quit. All fixed now.
It had a slight wobble in the outside turn of the square loops. Lead-outs foreword and now its gone. So I am off to the Nats on Friday.
I will not get anymore practice till Saturday on the L pad. Hope to see you there. This year with my dad with me I will take a post pics everyday and a short descriptive,of coarse I am no Elwyn.
