Title: Laser Line
Post by: Oregon_Flyer on February 24, 2006, 03:03:15 PM
Scott Riese put me on to this nifty laser.  It has an attachment cap that
you put over the beam dot and it converts to a line.  So what you may say,
well it has a built in level and a tripod so if you want to make sure your le or te
are dead straight, ya gotta own one of these.  Sure beats the dickens out of a straight edge and talk about getting the tail feathers dead on? Comes with batteries so you can check it out without scrounging for batteries.  Best part, it's $9.99 at harbor freight.
you may want to see it on their web site so here's the item number: 41102.

Marv,

Yea, I've been using a laser level to set up my jig for a bit. It's is easier than using multiple scales and jig setup blocks. And for once, I can set up to build a wing in under two hours.

Awwww shucks Doc,  One guy way out here in Oregon told me you
were their legendary shopper.  He went on to tell me that if they are
ever out of stock I should contact you  ;D
