The best flying weather we've had in this area so far this year and I'm stuck in bed trying not to cough up yesterdays lunch.
there is no justice.

I can sympathise with ya there,, Not for illness, but I lost both of my flyable airframes last weekend in Portland and of course we have had stunt heaven all week, 65 degrees, 3 to 5 mph breeze steady as can be,,,wanna guess what the weather will be when I get a plane put together?
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!

Miami is slightly breezy with temps pushing 90. Later will see temps over 95. Too much for me.

Bad luck sucks, but lets keep Murphy out of it.  His law is, more or less, if somebody can screw something up, they will.  No luck involved, just stupidity.

Yep, beautiful day today. I spent it, let's see: Spraying the roof with moss killer, fixing the back steps that the moron dog chewed through, cleaing the deck (I just LOVE deck cleaner), fixing the massive steps that lead from the driveway up to the house (big project), fixing my wife's car's brakes (can't have her hitting something, it's expensive), working on the truck and, oh yea, cleaning up the yard. My wife spent the day cleaning up the flower beds and building a new bed in the front of the house. Oh, and I cut down 5 trees and limbed them.

I'm pooped.

Randy,
I'm pooped from just reading about it!
I "get" to cut grass tomorrow, winds forecast to be light/variable with 80*F.  Sat. of our fly in, wind was 10 to 20 mph---altogether we broke six models.  HB~>

I was sighting the most popular and liberal interpretation of "the Law".

Murphy's law is a popular adage in Western culture that broadly states that things will go wrong in any given situation, if you give them a chance. "If there's more than one possible outcome of a job or task, and one of those outcomes will result in disaster or an undesirable consequence, then somebody will do it that way." It is most often cited as "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong" (or, alternately, "Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time," or, "Anything that can go wrong, will," or even, "If anything can go wrong, it will, and usually at the most inopportune moment"). The saying is sometimes referred to as Sod's law. Finagle's law, which can also be rendered as "Anything that can go wrong, will—at the worst possible moment".

I never did believe in Murphy's law because most of those Irishmen drink too much anyway and at one time had a girlfriend called Murphy. In both cases niether were very reliable. But I do belive in the year of the Monkey.

GRF, maybe you need to do like the guys in Stuart.  They are out as soon as the sun is up.  Toby has to leave early to make it to work.  They have one beautiful site to fly on til the soccer players show up.  Here in Kansas the temps run into the 90's most of the time.  DOC Holliday

Hey Doc, I hear they get a lot of wind and dust blowing in Kanses just like they do in Montana who also gets a lot of 90 degree weather in the summer time.  Now I know why you fly so well in the wind or is it why you are windy in Kansas. Just joking, havn't anything better to do today. HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>
