Snapped this pic of our planes in the pits today. Not all are shown here, we had eight guys out this morning! The weather was perfect.

Uh, no flying here today. That's certain. No where to fly if we wanted to.

Bill, great to see you posting #^ How about some close ups of that gorgeous Cobrum--er Magma . Aw, you know the one I mean y1 LL~ Rainman aka Gary T.
-
Aw Shucks Rainman, puttin up pics of my plane makes me feel like I'm showin off...
But, if yer gonna twist my arm, here ya go!
-
Bill,
I always like that plane. Is that metallic brown with the red, orange and yellow?
-
Hi Randy, it's metallic charcoal and it was a real bear to work with. Mixed Sig silver with a shot of black thrown in, I'll never do that again.
Did you say there's no place to fly in your area? Hope it's just a temporary thing.

My ulterior motive for asking for the pix was so I could more easily STEAL the paint scheme ;D LL~ Pix are puuuuurfect for theft. Thanx Bill
-
You bet Gary, and to join you in the confessional spirit (good for the soul you know), this scheme was stolen from Mike Dietrich's Cobra 7 and the color combo was stolen from a NASCAR racer (a favorite source of mine).

Bill,
Nope. The Northwest Skyraiders have no flying site and I don't see one on the horizon. We, unfortunately, have politicians (and parks departments) that seem to actively try to prevent us from securing a site. I still have an area to fly in most times, but it's a school and I have to be careful. Particularly if flying by myself. And I'm always one noise complaint away from losing it.
Around here, you could have 50 people flying at a site and if someone 5 miles away complains, you're done. No argument and no appeal. Fun place.

Lucky!
We got almost a foot of snow last night. :-\

Hey Bill, plane looks great. Hope it flies as well as it looks. Still flying the Cotton Candy, DOC Holliday

Hey Bill,
If you're gonna steal a Cobra paint scheme you chose the right guy to copy! Rainman - get after that dude & try to get him flying again! We miss his happy spirit!
