Many years back, I attended the Striking Back show that Byron Originals hosted each year in Ida Grove, Iowa. They flew a very large B-29 like this one as part of the WWII, battle of the Pacific show. It was very impressive when they rolled it out of it's hangar (yes, it was kept in a hangar). It was really impressive when it left the ground. It also took two people to fly it. Wonder if this could be the same plane.

Not sure but is sounds like they are speaking something other then english.
So I assume the guy is pressing some type of starter when he puts his hand is each cowl. Anyone know for sure what he is doing before he starts each engine?

Maybe pushing on a primer bulb on the carb like on your weedeater? I think one flys it and the other guy is the flight engineer running flaps and gear.
