If I have a plane that flies a specific lap time on say 54' lines, is there a way, mathematically, to calculate the estimated lap time on 52' lines or 50' lines. Seems there should be a formula that would do that but I cant figure it out. Any thoughts other than making different lengths of lines and timing it?

Including the effect of line drag? If you don't include that, just multiply by the ratio of line lengths, measured from the place about which you rotate (your elbow, maybe) to the center of the airplane. For example, if you fly 5.4-second laps on 54-foot lines, you'd fly 5.2-second laps on 52-foot lines.

LineIII does exactly that with the What-If calculations and it includes the line drag factor.
