Title: Land locked fishing rod
Post by: Leo Mehl on September 21, 2007, 07:49:20 PM
I am not sure but could this be termed as cheating especially if it is directly downwind. I am not sure if it is in direct violation of stunt rules but most of what Howard does is questionable. In this case we let the exception be the rule. Of course we will consider this a prank on our old buddy and I know he would do the same for us.

Will somebody please remind me when National Ammunition Day is? I think it's about Nov. 17, but could be way off. Maybe that's my wife's birthday...or not.  LL~ Steve

Steve,

National Ammo Day is Nov 19. Thanks for mentioning it, I did not know it existed. That also happens to be my birthday so I'll be able to remember it.

Perhaps I'll go out and purchase my 100 rounds. Maybe even use it if I can get my .22 rifle back from my son.  ::)

Bless yore pea-pickin' heart, George!  H^^ I usually just call up "Cheaper Than Dirt" (no, not that Dirt!) and buy a bunch of .357 and .380 Winchester Silvertips. Tho, I think I can order online from them. Get it while you can. No sense in having the cops raid your house and not find at least 1k rounds of ammo (like that's supposed to be a lot!).  Makes a much better "story" in the "news" paper.  S?P   VD~ Steve

Considering that I have bought .22 ammo in boxes of 550 rounds,  1K rounds would be less than two boxes.  I think some reporters are easily impressed.
