The club will be holding CL contests on these dates in 2013
Feb 24th - Ice-O-Lated Stunt Contest
April 21st - Fun Fly
May 18-19 - Speed
Sept 21-22 - Stunt, Scale
More details to follow, but here are some pictures of the flying we did today with the brisk temperatures, snow and Ice...!

Nice Corsair! Guillows 400 series, by any chance?

The Corsair is the Great Planes Combat series ARF (43" span) designed for RC that was converted to CL. I had to add landing gear since the plane does not come with any landing gear (meant to be hand launched), then put in an OS-35FP and it has 2.4 Ghz control for the throttle. I did not use the ARF markings, I got my own markings that match my documentation.
If I do another one of these it will be electric with an E-flite E25.

Just finished an Adams' Special for Byron Barker (C.F.Slattery). It weighs in at 36.2 ounces at a Barnstormer sized model.

Allen,
The Adam's Speciall looks great...
Here is a closer picture of the Corsair, great to fly, the model is now 7 years old. This ARF kit is ideal for CL fun scale or Carrier, but a hot .35 and it will move!
