I get a little more excited with every new batch of pics!

Is that a 3" bellcrank shown?

It's kind of a dumb reason for it but it's true none the less..  
As I was test fitting it the pivot shaft kept falling out so once I had it all together
I tacked glued it in place with the hopes of removing it when Jim's set was to arrive and well...  
the tack gluing ended up being permanent.  HB~> HB~>   Live and learn.

The good news is the original La Donna had a 3" so at least I don't feel so bad.

Even better news is Jim made a 3 1/2" that will actually fit.
