KOTRC ET-1 Flight Training Pictured by the AMA

I apologize in advance for my wordiness.  I didn’t mean to rant, or start an argument.  I just wanted to let people know about a few pictures of our club.

The AMA posted 640 photos (so far) of the 2016 AMA Expo.  And as I am writing this I am being notified via email that more are being posted.  In my opinion they did not do a particularly good job overall.  They took a TON of photos and posted every single one, even the bad ones.  I would have posted about 25% or less.  The back-sides of random people wandering through the lobby (picture number 6)?  It's a lot to wade through, but there are a FEW good shots.  Also they seem to have been taken with an iPhone 6S.  I have personally stooped so low as to taking most of my pictures with an iPhone 5 (tired of lugging the Canon 40D DSLR around for a couple of thank you’s), but then I am not the AMA and I did not host a small trade show.  The AMA should have sent someone around with a really good camera, and an assistant to take down names and other pertinent info.  Then they should have had someone CULL the photos and remove the bad ones.  Then they should have done CULL #2 and try to post only the good ones.  Then they should have TAGGED the photos with people names, club names, vendor names, etc. so that the 640 photos could be searched by keyword, instead of the snooze-fest of slogging through 640 photos.

As we all know there is an awful LOT that the AMA is not doing.  So what’s new?

NOTE: I have received a few comments, concerns, & complaints that my own original small batch of pics were posted in a facebook album and people could not get to them to see them.  I will be duplicating that album on Flickr for all to see (shortly I hope).

The Knights of the Round Circle (KOTRC.org) did not get any pictures of the booth posted by the AMA (yet) but Larry Renger's ET-1 received 5 photos (2 good ones and 3 sloppy ones), and Control Line Flight Training received 12 photos including a few really good ones of Tom Collier.  Links below:

Kind of looks like most of the pics were taken with a phone camera, maybe, color (white balance) is so "off" in a lot of them, shutter speed and autofocus baddddd.  (all IMHO of course).

Other observations:
1.  General content was very poor.
2.  The B-24 looked awesome.  Would have liked to have seen some better pictures of the large Cub.
3.  Hoverboards at the one booth, REALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4.  Pics of bags of rubber bands and stocking caps?
5.  Curious the model (silver twin) in pic P1170038 (page #6), under the sign Dornier Do x
