Title: KOI Hotels which hotel is everybody staying at?
Post by: Lynn Weedman on December 20, 2012, 03:49:04 PM
I have had a few inquiries about which hotel is the most popular among the contestants coming to the KOI.
Since it's the first year back at Whitehouse in around 7 years they have built a few more hotels at exit 351.
There are a total of 4 at this location.

Where was the Holiday Inn we used to have as headquarters hotel? Is that one of those listed? Gene, do you know?  It had the huge open area with the pool, etc.

Is exit 351 the exit right by the field?

I just remember that one time Mike Garmon and Willis suggested this Days Inn back in Jax.  There was yellow police tape and a chalk outline there when we got up in the morning.  I want to avoid that place...

The Holiday Inn with the ercoupe hanging over the pool is no longer a Holiday Inn. Check it out on Google earth maps. We will all be much better off staying in the hotels listed as they are newer and much closer to the field.

Gene suggested the Holiday Inn or Best Western at the exit. He hinted some of the hotels used in the past have changed over the years...
