Kits USSR Russian
« on: August 25, 2021, 06:35:00 PM »
Just scored these off the bay.  One control line and one free flight.  Seller said they were ply wood and hard wood construction.  Plans need copying as they are fragile.  The package was heavy.  Guess they didn't have balsa back in those days.  Will have to figure out what engines to use as the free flight will be radio assist. D>K H^^

Hmmm, sounds like they hired the same guy who selected wood for Sterling!  Your picture came in too small to make out any details.  Any specs on the two? Is the CL model a stunter?  Any idea what vintage?

CONGRATS on scoring the kits!

Hi, guys. Very low resolution photo, but I recognize the bottom box. This is an F-1-C class model designed for a 1.5 cc engine. I built this model when I was a kid . An MK-17 engine was installed on it. This is a diesel 1.5 сс The KIT should also contain a strange cylindrical plastic fuel tank of white color. And indeed, balsa is not there )

Thanks for that info.  Constructing kits in which I don't know the language.  Have built/constructed seveal kits from Brazil. H^^
