Hi Guys and Gals,
Interest in the Novi 1 did not go well at all so I had another conversation with Dave Gierke today and we have decided to postpone the Novi (1) and try again but to move onto another kit survey to see if anyone would be interested.
Now it has come to my attention that the
Novi 3 and the
All American Eagle were built at the same time by Dave Gierke and are essentially the same plane other than the stab is higher on one and some other minor cosmetic differences. That said… if anyone is interested in having either a Novi 3 or an All American Eagle, I could do a kit which would include some paper templates and notes that would allow the builder to choose which one of these two great designs they could build from one kit.
The Novi 3 and the All American Eagle are .35-.40 size Classic legal stunt ships with approx. 610.00 square in. wings.
We will be starting from the beginning here with this survey to see how many will be interested in getting one kit that will make either the Novi 3 or the All American Eagle.
We will then have to put the plans into AutoCAD so we can laser cut the parts.
To be clear...

This possible future kit will not be before the later part of this year and only if we get enough names.
Okay that said, to get this kit going I will need some names on the waiting list, so if you are
seriously interested in having either a Novi 3 or an All American Eagle kit, I encourage you to get on the waiting list early.
Waiting until later or until the end to get on the waiting list will only delay or even prevent the possibility of this becoming a kit as was the case with the Novi 1.

Please remember that either model will be able to made from one kit so if you want either one please get on the waiting list because if this one fails to make the cut I will not attempt the Novi 4.
