My modeling stuff will be stored for a little while, and I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with mice chewing balsa wood or digging into a kit. I have glue traps and poison set out, but, will that be enough?
Any first hand experience to share? Do I have anything to worry about?
thanks

As long as your balsa is stored in a box, it shouldnt be a problem. However, I did have the rodents in my shop at one time. They liked to eat on paintbrushes(dope brushes)...Thats the only harm I found out there.

Thanks Richard, everything is boxed. I fell a bit better now. They can have my brushes, none are that high quality. I'll relax then.

Bring all your stuff over to my house. I will take real good care of it. Might come back and tad lighter but it won't be the mice. **)

I believe mothballs repel the little basthads.
