One time, while in the Air Force, I was doing a sheet metal repair inside a fuel pod on a B-58 and it required that I use sealant during the work.
I remember cleaning up with MEK and then a bunch of little tiny people were getting in the way of what I was doing. At one point they were getting nasty and all I remember after that was being pulled out of the access hole by some guys and then off to the infirmary.
Many years after that Werwage and I were sharing a room someplace and while we were getting up and ready for the day he told me about the dream he just had that night. He told me all about spending the night inside the fuel tank of his USA1. He vividly recalled the tubes, solder joints and spots of corrosion and I recalled my adventure with the little people years before but never mentioned that to him. Needless to say we fed on that dream of his all day long. I wonder if Billy remembers this because it did keep us entertained well into the evening.
