This mysteriously popped up on my browser today...I don't do much Amazon, but have a couple of times over the years. It seems to me that I recall somebody trying it a few years ago and wondered how it worked. Do I remember correctly that the second time the can was opened, the stuff was solidified? Was it really fuel proof? Happy or not happy? H^^ Steve

The KBS Clear Diamond finish is NOT fuel proof. I tried it, the aerosol version, and raw fuel ate it up. I contacted the manufacturer via email. The response I got was that the Clear Diamond product was not designed to be resistant to chemicals. You have to use their two-part product for that.
I don't know of any one-part product that will resist nitro or methanol. The way I see it, the KBS Diamond Clear might be a bit better than clear dope. As long as you avoid splashing raw fuel on it, you should be OK. And, I have no idea how well it resists yellowing over time.

I think there were several long threads about it, mostly about disappointing results. And as usual, some said it worked OK for them. I think they made a spray can at one time?? Everybody is still searching for that elusive spay one 19 point fuel proof clear finish!!
Type at you later,
