Title: Karma
Post by: Jim Pollock on September 10, 2006, 10:24:14 PM
Well,

Gee, I'm the only person on this board with negative Karma.   I must be a really bad, bad boy here to have negative Karma.  See you later maybe?

Wardo;
    Under the karma indicator on the left side of the message box you will see two buttons one says applaud, and the other says smite. If you like what someone posts  y1 y1 y1 you can hit the applaud button and increase his karma. If you don't like what he says you can hit the smite button and lower his karma, but be careful of the use of smiter,  %^ because it can comeback and smote you too. f~ f~ f~

While in the process of being a newbe, What is the significance of the "rank" Capt.,Lieutenant, etc...And the stars? Does that change? Upgrade/Downgrade?

I think it goes up with time, or posts. I'm not sure how the rank works. I think it goes up with time, or posts.

Jim,

I had a negative Karma for a while too! I do have an idea who put it there and why, even though my post was aimed at helping CL flyers.
It really doen't matter because there are so many other great individuals on this forum and I'm sure the person took it the wrong way and hopefully regrets it and the negative Karma. I just chaulk it up to somebody having a bad day.
I am up to 2 positive at this time.

At one point, Sparky identified a member who was giving a ton of "bad karma".  Don't know why, but I do believe he took care of it.  y1

Does negative Karma come from having your Karma run over by some dogma....?

Jim, Yes...

The dogma is the smiter!
