« on: April 12, 2006, 08:04:13 AM »
Robert,

What's the breakdown on how many posts equal what for status
1-? = New Pilot and so on, right?  What is the numbers for ensign, lieutenant, lieutenant commander, commander, captain, commodore and so on?

Jim Pollock, hoping to become an ensign sometime?

Jim,

I think you are only a few posts away from getting a promotion. Cruise through the other posts and check rank and number of posts from other members.
I'll give you a karma point while I'm at it.
Good luck rising through the ranks.

Isn't it funny how any forum with anything based on post count has threads with people just goofing off to boost their count or reach the next level?  Kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it?  ;)

How many post per rank?  Would be nice to know so we can avoid being promoted.  Momma always said, "Keep your eyes open and your mouth shut, and never volunteer.

PICK ME! PICK ME!

So just for the sake of making thie a model airplane post............................

Have any of you guys built a kit Legacy?.....and if so..............

What engine did you use?
Did you have to add balast anywhere besides the tip weight?
How much was the ready to fly weight?
Did the canopy melt when you tried to tint it?

Frank,

I have a Legacy Kit but havn't built it yet.  I won't build it until I get back to
'bama at the beginning of July.  Then, I think Tom may have some room I can
work on it temporarily until I get my new shop set up and going.

Well,

I made it to ensign - now all I need to do is figure out how to get the smiley faces into the post without all that text that seems to follow me around with them?

Well, the Sparkster told me early on how the promotion system worked according to number of posts, but................. I forgot!  ???

Anyway I noticed that I am the leading poster when I read this.  Sparky still outranks me!  x:
