I would be worried as to the tiger 46 being enough for the plane.
Course, few people build as heavy as I.( I use a welder)
I have two 46 tigers and they are very sweet running , but are limited as to their
power and are easily damaged when overtaxed.
You might want to consider a ST51or make a check to see that the possible
engine change could be made with a minimum of effort while you are building.
With a 46, I believe it would be tailheavy and weight would have to be placed in the nose ,so a bigger engine wouldn,t really be a penalty.
I have a DS60 in mine with a chip muffler and it came out about the same weight as Tom,s did and balanced right on the money.
If you use the 46, I certainly hope you prove my fears foundless.
