Just saw electric SV-11 ARF on Brodak

Any good? All good? I know there are a few here that have a vested interest in these arfs.
Brodak site gives very little detailed information on their website.
I’m assuming it comes with a 4” bellcrank. Are the controls and lead outs properly bushed?
I have wanted a larger plane but too many other projects ahead at the moment. Price sure seems right!
What other tips on the plane are there?
Doing my best to not just make that impulse buy! May not last the day though.

I knew there were a few threads on the regular SV-11 but had not seen anything on the electric version. Didn’t know if it is a new build or just minor mods to adapt to electric power.
A couple firewall doublers of real ply would fix that issue. I hate Lite Ply!

Hi Matt   I think you will find it is a very good  ARF  and  much improved from the previous series, Yes 4 inch crank HD  ball links  good rods,  good ship box   2 piece wing  etc  see  the  ARF forum here.  I have sold dozens and dozens  of them.  I also have  complete  motor packages for  Both the  SV-11 and  Vector  airplanes.  Let me now if I can help you with one

The motor mount is NOT lite ply.

All the "big pieces" are identical between the electric & nitro airplanes, the primary differences are in the fuselage forward of the leading edge.  The electric also has a no-cowl front end for greatly improved stiffness and an inboard side battery hatch.  The nitro version has a traditional cowl and is designed to accommodate a piped engine.

To be honest, I had never even noticed the ARF forum here before today. Read many of those threads this afternoon and found several of the answers I had asked. I think as soon as I talk to my financial manager for an okay, I’ll get one headed my way along with the recommended motor.

Is it basswood, what is it?

It is not lite ply but it’s not aircraft ply either. It appears to be a 5 ply with the outer plies being very thin.
