It sure looks good on the surface, and the www.cablestrand.com URL goes to a real company. There's some modeler involved there, or some modeler-friendly person, that's for sure.
Note that MBS model supply will sell you cable for $29.95/1000'. I've ordered from them (him?) and they're nice, helpful folks.

I've got mine from McMaster-Carr. Pretty reasonable pricing, too.

thx guys.........my needs are very small as i am a competition free flight. the use for the cable is for the auto surfaces on these models and gets changed once a year.
a 250 foot roll will probably last me till i croak ;D
just didn't want to by some cable that falls apart under real stress.

I've got 10 five-foot lengths of 0.015" line, as a consequence of miscounting the turns on my nifty "stay dry in your shop while you make control lines" fixture. (I was in a hurry and just cut them off, instead of removing them 'nicely').
If you can use them and you want them, they're yours. Just send me a PM with your snail-mail address.

The seller posted an ad in the classifieds on that other forum, offering a $2 discount and free shipping if it was ordered outside of eBay. I dropped a check in the mail last Wednesday and received my 1,000 foot roll yesterday. Not bad, Pa. to California and back in a week. The wire looks excellent and I hope to make a set of lines with it in the next few days. I'll let you know if there's a problem, but I believe other modelers have been using this brand quite successfully for a while.

I get mine from Tom Morris. They come in any length you want and they even have little rings on the ends of them for your line connectors. :##
